Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, and China discuss expanding nanotech cooperation with Iran

Iran hosted a specialized nanotechnology meeting attended by delegations from Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, China, and other nations. Officials presented Iran’s advancements in nanotech, particularly in health applications, emphasizing its role among leading countries.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A specialized nanotechnology meeting was held today in Tehran, bringing together high-ranking delegations from Venezuela, Vietnam, Cuba, Russia, Serbia, Honduras, and China to learn about Iran’s advancements in nanotechnology and its applications in health.

During the event, Emad Ahmadvand, Secretary of Iran's Nanotechnology and Microtechnology Development Headquarters, detailed Iran’s progress in scientific research, technological infrastructure, and the growing presence of knowledge-based companies in the nano market.

Mohammad Mehdi Seifi, head of Business Development in Health and Medicine at Iran’s Nano Headquarters, presented Iran’s achievements in diagnostic, therapeutic, and public health applications, highlighting its position among leading nations in nanotechnology.

Among the attendees were the Vice President and Minister of Health of Venezuela, the Minister of Health of Cuba, the Russian Ambassador to Iran, and scientific and academic delegations from Venezuela, all of whom welcomed Iran’s advancements and expressed interest in expanding scientific collaboration and experience-sharing.
